North Tahoe Community Alliance
Partnering for a Cleaner North Shore
ECO-CLEAN Solutions is proud to partner with the North Tahoe Community Alliance, which has awarded us annual grant funding through the TOT-TBID Dollars at Work program.
This support fuels our tourism impact mitigation project, allowing us to deploy robotic beach cleaning technology across all public beaches in North Lake Tahoe. Together, we’re ensuring that increased visitation doesn’t come at the cost of Tahoe’s natural beauty.
Keep Tahoe Blue
Collaboration to Create a Lasting Impact
Our partners at Keep Tahoe Blue to take a data-driven approach to shoreline protection. By analyzing litter data, we help identify pollution trends, advocate for stronger policies, and prevent waste at the source. Together, we’ve provided data that supports bans on single-use plastics, Styrofoam, and plastic bags to #KeepTahoeBlue.
We’re also excited to join the launch of the Blue Beach Pilot Program in Lake Tahoe in summer 2025, setting a new standard for beach management and maintenance on Tahoe’s busiest beaches. Through innovation and advocacy, we’re ensuring a cleaner, healthier lake for all.
Desert Research Institute (DRI)
Turning Data into Action
We are incredibly proud to partner with Desert Research Institute (DRI) to bring a data-driven approach to protecting Lake Tahoe. In 2024, DRI’s dedicated team of interns played a crucial role in our success, meticulously counting, categorizing, and analyzing every piece of litter collected during our cleanups. Their hard work provided invaluable insights into litter hotspots, pollution trends, and the long-term impact of tourism-related waste.
By cataloging this data, we can advocate for stronger environmental policies, refine cleanup strategies, and develop solutions that prevent litter at the source. Thanks to this collaboration, our efforts don’t just remove trash—they drive meaningful, lasting change for Tahoe’s fragile ecosystem.
Rowan Family Foundation

Tahoe Keys Marina
Partnering to Protect Tahoe’s Waterways
We are proud to partner with Tahoe Keys Marina to combat aquatic litter and invasive species, both of which pose a serious threat to Lake Tahoe’s water quality. Through this collaboration, we’ve introduced cutting-edge cleanup technology, including PIXIEDRONE and Collec’THOR, to remove floating debris, plastic pollution, and invasive weed fragments from the marina.

International Trash Trap Network (ITTN)
Partnering to better understand the origins of pollution.
ECO-CLEAN Solutions proudly partners with the International Trash Trap Network (ITTN) to combine innovative cleaning technology with data-driven strategies to combat litter and trash accumulation in high alpine lakes and coastal shorelines.
Our eco-friendly cleaning solutions efficiently remove even the smallest litter, while ITTN’s trash-trapping technology and waste analysis help identify pollution sources and drive innovative solutions. Together, we’re not just cleaning up, we’re preventing waste at the source for a lasting impact.
